Titchfield Festival Theatre moves back to Titchfield!

Titchfield Festival Theatre move back to TitchfieldAfter the shock withdrawal of their lease of the Old Barn in Warsash in August, Titchfield Festival Theatre are now back in their spiritual home of Titchfield - this time in a modern factory in St Margarets Lane.

In August this year TFT were given a month's notice to vacate their home of the past year, The Old Barn in Brook Lane. After much frantic searching for a new venue they have found one.

Their new home, a modern factory in St Margarets Lane, will become a 'real' theatre. Tiered seating, stalls, central heating and a large bar area are all on the plans for the new theatre.

Funding for the refurbishment will be coming from their half price ticket offer: Donate £100 and receive 20 tickets that can be used to see any show at any time within the next year. Hurry though as there are only 25 tickets left.

Although the new theatre won't yet be complete TFT will begin their Autumn/Winter season on Tuesday 5th October with 'Major Barbar'a - a provocative look at poverty, faith and justice with vivid characters and a hefty dose of fun. This will be followed by 'Brief Lives' by John Aubrey on 1st November, then 'Private Peaceful' on 15th.

For the full programme of shows and details of their Christmas Wine Tasting see the Titchfield Festival Theatre Website. Tickets for all performances up to January can be booked now online or by calling 01329 556156.
